Jenna Filingeri

What grade are you in?

11th

What inspired you to start playing field hockey?

I just wanted to make friends and get involved. After that, I fell in love with the sport.

How long have you been playing?

I have been playing since freshman year.

What is the secret to your success?

I believe that the secret to our success is our strong bond. We are all best friends and we love what we do, because we want to win as a team.

What is the next step in your season?

Right now our main focus is to win the state championship. We have a good chance because we are number one in our bracket. We are so familiar with the teams in our bracket so we are going in very prepared.

How does it feel being Sectional Group Three Champions?

It’s probably the best feeling in the world knowing that were the first ones to do this for Colts Neck Field Hockey
