April 8, 2018

Over the past few months, the Colts Neck High School varsity basketball team has excelled, as they made it to the final round of states. On the fifth of March they played an exhilarating white-out game against Trenton, rallying up the Cougar Den and their opponents. This was the largest student body turnout of the year, and it provided an exciting and memorable game for all who attended. As the game was approaching the end, the score remained tight, leaving all the fans on edge. The point difference remained close throughout the entirety of the game; as the end was approaching, one of Colts Neck’s players attempted a three-pointer to get the edge over Trenton; however, Colts Neck ended up losing by one point, leaving the score 42-41. Though the team lost by one point, Colts Neck’s basketball players proved their strength and gave the seniors a great last year on the team. The students and administration at the game showed their school spirit, and it was an unforgettable experience for all.
