Howdy Modi is an event that happened recently in NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. This marks as the largest event ever gathering with a foreign leader on American land. 50,000 people visited this event. It mainly features the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and our President, Donald Trump. Throughout this grand event, the relationship between the two leaders of the largest democracies in the world seemed very positive and smooth. Both the leaders were very respectful of each other. As PM Modi stated in his introduction speech, “my friend, a friend of India, a great American president.” President Trump was delighted to applaud Modi as, “one of America’s greatest, most devoted, and most loyal friends.” Since the beginning, their relationship has been friendly and strong. Modi has said that it has always been nice when he meets Trump; he is “warm, friendly, energetic, and accessible. I admire him for his sense of leadership and passion for America.” President Trump exclaimed that, “India has never invested in United States like it is doing today, and I want to say it is reciprocal because we are doing the same thing in India, Prime Minister Modi. I look forward to working with you to make our countries even more prosperous.” Both the leaders are fully dedicated and vehement in collaborating with each other in order to fight back against terrorism. The event concludes with a special invitation to Trump by Modi: “President Trump, I want you to come to India with your family, Our friendship will take our shared dreams and our vibrant future to new heights.”
