Colts Neck JROTC Cadets Recognized at Freehold Borough Council Meeting

Cadets who helped with a community service event in September 2022, were recently recognized and awarded for their time to help out the Freehold community. The cadets cleaned up railroad tracks behind the firehouse on a Saturday morning a few months back. The town council board reached out to the students who helped out and were given a certificate of appreciation at December’s town meeting.  “It is with a great deal of appreciation and respect that I write to very sincerely thank you and your members for so graciously helping us with the clean-up of a littered section of our town. I am quite certain that on a beautiful September Saturday, there were many things that you could have been doing and enjoying, but you chose to unselfishly volunteer for this project.” This is a great story, and truly represents the culture at Colts Neck.
