Four seniors in high school are forming a podcast called “Keeping Up With the Cougars.” Kristen Arabit, Anna Rjahovski, Brandon Astuto, and Ranya Ghali, are featured on the podcast, reporting on news, big and small. As a group, they believe that it is important to have the conversations that most teenagers don’t talk about. It is their mission to inform their peers about the nuances of the news. Their main goal with the podcast is to spread more awareness on the different things that are happening locally, nationally, and internationally especially within our age group because they feel that it is important to ensure as many people as possible are informed. In the past two episodes they have talked about COVID19, the Mexican Drug Cartel, the COP26 and climate change, the gubernatorial election of NJ and Virginia, and most recently have talked about the Kyle Rittenhouse case.
