Djokovic’s Win at the Paris Rolex Masters Tournament

Ever since losing the anticipated win at the US Open to World No. 2, Daniil Medvedev, tensions between World No. 1, Novak Djokovic, and Daniil Medvedev have been high. This month, both tennis players entered the Paris Rolex Masters 2021 Tournament which was held from November 1 to November 7. As the tournament began, winning each round seemed like a cinch as the top world ranked players finally encountered each other once again. Excited fans awaited the final results when the 2 hour and 15-minute match began. Novak Djokovic beat Daniil Medvedev 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, avenging himself from his loss at the US Open. Winning his 37th Masters 1000 and his 6th Rolex Paris Masters, Djokovic has the highest Masters 1000 title and surpassed legendary tennis players such as Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. The renowned World No.1 continues to secure his spot on the leaderboard and his title.
