I love my red pencil.

It’s always resting in my pocket or my backpack.

It’s mechanical and complex. 

I can’t take it apart as easily as the other pencils. 

Its dark red is one of my favorite colors.

It has two hearts on the side of its eraser compartment.

The eraser never runs out.

I do everything with my red pencil. 

I draw. 

I write. 

I solve math problems.

To me, it’s like no other red pencil. 

I wouldn’t use another pencil if I lost it. 

I would feel devastated.
