What does October 9th mean to most people? Probably just another day, but for the students of Colts Neck High School, it’s something special. It’s the day of Homecoming. It’s the most exciting and memorable event of the year! What was the atmosphere like
This year’s Colts Neck homecoming was one to remember. The week kicked off with “wear blue” Monday, followed by “tie-dye Tuesday,” “pajama day,” “groutfit day,” and ended with “whiteout” Friday. Thursday, October 9th, was not only “groutfit day” but also the night of the exciting homecoming dance. Students filled the cafeteria to take pictures, dance, and make lasting memories. The next afternoon, everyone gathered on the football field for the 2025 pep rally, featuring impressive performances from the Colts Neck dance and cheer teams. Afterward, students from each grade competed in a spirited BOTC event.
The celebration continued Saturday morning as the Colts Neck football team faced Shore Regional on home turf. Despite a tough loss with a final score of 35-21, the school spirit was strong throughout the entire game. Corbin Marchese and Ava Canova were crowned Homecoming King and Queen. Both play key roles at Colts Neck, contributing through DECA, cheer, and other school activities.
