Colts Neck High School’s Cougar Theatre Company is currently working hard to bring our 2025 fall production Play On! By Rick Abbot to life. Play On! Is a hilarious show within a show of a local community theatre group trying to put on their own play “Murder Most Foul” all the while having to deal with an overbearing playwright, forgotten lines, a faulty necklace, and much more behind the scenes.

Role: Smitty/Doris the maid
Why people should come see our show: “It’s unknown and unlike most other plays because it’s a play about putting on a play. There’s two layers of humor there.”
Name and grade: Abby Riddle, 12th (at communications high school)
Role: Polly/Lady Margaret
Why people should come see our show: “Because of the amount of work and time we’ve put into it, we’re here for two, three, hours after school, four hours on the weekends, and we’re excited and proud to put it on.”

Role: Henry/Lord Dudley
Why people should come see our show: “There’s a lot of interesting and crazy things that happen throughout the show and it’s fun to watch!”
